bass on the fly…Year Round
Chase native bass through spring-fed rivers, limestone bluffs, and cypress-lined runs—all within 90 minutes of Austin. These waters hold Guadalupe Bass, Rio Grande Cichlids, Largemouth Bass, Gar, Carp, and a vibrant mix of native Sunfish, offering year-round action for fly anglers.
Whether you want to cover miles from a raft or stalk fish on foot, each trip is tailored to your style and experience. Our float trips use a fly fishing–rigged whitewater raft, ideal for drifting through productive stretches and comfortably accommodating two anglers. If you prefer a more up-close, technical approach, wade trips let you slip into the flow—perfect for picking apart pocket water, sight casting, and slowing things down.
Expect clear water, wild fish, and dynamic conditions that change with the seasons. I’ll handle the logistics and get you on the stretches that are fishing best.
All gear is provided—premium rods, reels, flies, and terminal tackle. Full-day trips include a riverside lunch, with snacks and drinks on every outing.
Whether it’s your first bass on the fly or your next Hill Country memory, let’s get you on the water!
