      <image:title>About - Guide: Andrew Milliorn</image:title>
<image:caption>Andrew Milliorn is an Austin-based fly fishing guide, instructor, and fly tyer with a strong focus on the rivers and creeks of Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country. His home waters include the San Marcos, Llano, Colorado, and Guadalupe rivers, where he guides for native warm-water species and seasonal trout. Much of his time is spent exploring these fisheries and refining approaches around their unique species, conditions, and seasonal changes. At the vise, Andrew focuses on simple, thoughtfully designed flies that are effective, durable, and easy to tie. Many are the same patterns he fishes and guides with, continually refined through time on the water. His interest in the craft has also led him to participate as a featured tyer at Trinity Fly Fest in Dallas. Each summer, Andrew spends part of the season in Colorado, fishing and guiding with Colorado River Outfitters and continuing to develop his experience on western trout water. Through Angler’s Choice Fly Fishing, he also hosts destination fly fishing trips, giving anglers opportunities to experience fisheries beyond Texas. As a guide and instructor, Andrew enjoys working with anglers at all stages, from first-time fly fishers learning the fundamentals to experienced anglers looking to sharpen specific skills. He places an equal emphasis on education, preparation, and safety, with the goal of helping anglers better understand the water, make thoughtful decisions, adapt to changing conditions, and enjoy the process. Andrew is the owner and guide behind Angler’s Choice Fly Fishing, based in Austin, Texas. Fly Fish Texas!</image:caption>
